The Tiefenbach Glacier with its gentle, wide pistes is ideal for less experienced skiers. In autumn in particular, this ski resort is a real attraction for winter sports enthusiasts – the snow park is also located on the glacier which extends up to 3,249 m altitude. The Rettenbach Glacier, by contrast, is the ideal place for an adrenaline rush and sporty skiing. At 15 km long and covering 2,000 m of altitude difference, this ski descent has it all!
World Cup feeling
The opening race to the international Ski World Cup traditionally takes place on the Rettenbach Glacier thanks to the guaranteed snow here even in October. This show attracts thousands of fans. The race slope is the steepest in the glacier ski resort. However, the black piste can be mastered with a dose of courage and skill!
